Been fairly regularly over the last year and the food is consistently tasty and reasonably priced - new owners have made a world of difference.
The lady serving is great. Note minimum order for cash is £15

Food undercooked give it a 4/10! won’t accept card unless 15£ over, woman who works there at front counter won’t help you at all !!! it’s almost an inconvenience if you ask her for help you should see her facial expression she has a very toxic attitude toward customer and thinks it’s acceptable to speak to them like this … if you was starving and had no money I can bet my life that she wouldn’t help you unless it benefitted her in some way treat your customers better

The management of David Chiu changed in November 2023 - and unfortunately the results ain’t good. We had chicken curry & chips in Nov 2024 - the sauce was thin, only 11 peas, they now use the cheapest quality chicken (thin slices not big, fat juicy chunks) and the chips are cheapo thin chips, not chunky fries as we’ve grown to love. Won’t be going back.

I absolutely love this place. Came tonight with my partner after work because we were both too tired and hungry to cook and the food is absolutely delicious! The curry omgg it is sooo good especially with the chips and rice. Some places make them too bland but this place. 10/10. Thank you! 💗

Definitely a change of hands , and what a great change
Ordered three times now.
Food is fresh , well cooked and full of flavour.
My husband is vegetarian and the menu shows respect .
The bean curd Kung po was excellent.
I've ordered meat dishes where the quality and portions top again.
I'm glad this is on the doorstep .

We use to use David chui’s when we lived in St George’s 2 years ago ,we always enjoyed the chicken curry but the chicken was always hit and miss , heard it’s been taken over so gave it a try , wish we hadn’t, the chicken was the worst chicken we’d EVER had , it was that slimy , will definitely not been using it again

First time since new management, the takeaway was delivered on time, the food was fresh and hot and very tasty. Excellent will be using again, probably the best Chinese in Telford right now.

After change of management I can say, it excellent lovely fresh food cooks amazingly. Quick and polite service. Very reasonably priced, After not eating there for yrs will definitely be going back

Tried this Chinese tonight after our usual was too busy and absolutely loved it! Collection in 20 minutes or delivery in 30 minutes. The food was 10/10 and actually better than our usual. Pleasantly surprised and definitely recommend!

Ordered food over the phone and was told the total which was £10. Arrived to collect but they told me if I want to pay card I had to spend £12 which I didn’t know about and didn’t have any cash as they never said on the phone that there is a limit that I haven’t reached, so ended up leaving without food. Bit of a shame really as I believe it’s under new management.

Customer service is amazing, I had a pushchair with me and the step is very steep but the lady at the counter helped me in and out. The food is pretty good, best chicken balls I’ve ever had tho.

The food we've ordered was terrible! duck meet a week stored at least, chow mein with Singapore noodles and disgusting veggies. Don't be disappointed if you order after reading this review.

The time taken to prepare the food was great as it was so quick, however, I feel the food did lack some flavour and was a bit dry in comparison to other Chinese takeaways I've had. The salt and peppered ribs were quite dry unfortunately.
